Month of September Buys

I thought I would share what I bought during the month of September ! Not really a lot, since I am jobless, but my Mom was nice enough to get me some of the things below ! Click pictures for a larger image !

You've already seen me in the skull tank and leopard skirt in my last post, but my Mom was nice enough to get me the skull tank to wear with the skirt since I had nothing to match it ! I actually got the skirt for $4 ! Such a good find ! The dress is a black lace dress my Mom bought me when we were out maternity clothing shopping with my sister, and while it looks quite short in the picture, it's actually pretty long when I have it on ! I love that dress so much !

I went to Chinatown to buy a new pack of bulk lashes I had almost used up and they didn't have the ones I was looking for in, so instead I picked up a new brand that has just been released. It's actually very nice and I plan on doing a review of these ones and the other ones I have soon !
Necklace I actually picked up from a vendor at FanExpo. I don't know exactly what I am going to wear with it yet, but it might look cute with a future Cocolulu outfit. It has Hello Kitty in a swimming tube on it !
Hair bows and clips I actually got for a dollar each at this cultural market I went too ! I got them from a China booth, and they had them in a couple different patterns. The hair bows came with two in a pack, and I really like them ! I regret not getting the leopard print ones and the purple star print ones. Ahh, oh well !
I got two other tights last month too, but I forgot to take pictures of them before I opened them. D: '' One pair was a black tight with hearts all over it and the other one was black leopard print. I haven't really found an outfit to wear the floral ones with yet .. Maybe an upcoming mode outfit ? Who knows. ;o

GREEN TEA WAFERS: Ling Ling Grocery Mart

My grandparents bought these for me when we went down to Chinatown for the day. The Toppo is apparently like a Pocky, only the inside is where all of the chocolate is instead of on the outside ! It's green tea flavored, as that is my favorite flavor of everything, and I actually haven't tried them yet. P: Waiting for a good tea occasion with friends, haha ! I gave one of the packs to my grandparents to take back to Newfoundland with them.
The green tea wafers came in a huge pack, and are covered with white chocolate on the outside and I don't know what the green tea is suppose to be on the inside .. Haha. They weren't very good. P: Like not at all good. No one in my house liked them ! My grandparents ended up taking back most of them with them, so we only have two left. I'll probably bring them to the next gathering and give them to some friends to have, although I bet they won't enjoy them either !

Shopping Buys !

(Ahh ! I could have sworn this had gone through. ;__; Late post is late ! Got this about a week ago now. New shopping post coming this week too !)

So, my mom had to go to Sheriway Gardens to pick up my brothers new shoes, so I decided I might as well tag along and check out the mall as I had never been there before.
It was actually quite disappointing. The mall was very small, might have been even smaller then our mall back in Halifax, and the shoe stores really outnumbered the clothing stores. Don't get me wrong, I love shoes, but when the stores are all so much alike in terms of what they are carrying, it got boring fast. D: Although, I did buy four new things~ :D I wanted to cut this, but it's not working. ;C Sorry about that !




First up is the shoes I got ~They're Jessica Simpson brand of shoes that are made of real leather with a tiny wedge heel~ :D SO COMFORTABLE. I was in desperate need of a new good pair of plain black flats, since the ones I have now are worn out, and I managed to find these 60% off at Sears ! My mom was nice enough to buy them for me. Thank you mom ! < 3

Next up is the MOD de DIM brand of tights I got. They're a gray and black lined tight that are super thick, so they'll be really great for when it hits winter ! I didn't notice until after I took it out of the case that on the back of them is actually a little chain design going down. SO CUTE ! I'll definitely have to take pictures of that whenever I wear them with an outfit. C:
They were originally $21 Canadian, but I got them for only $1.76 in the tights bargain bin ! That's probably the cheapest I've ever paid for good quality tights !


The other pair of tights I got are also MOD de DIM but are the Dim Up type. It's too bad I couldn't get a good picture of their print, but I'll make a link back to this post whenever I do an outfit post with these on in the future. Once more, I got these for a $1.74 instead of their original $25 price. :D The only thing I dislike about them is that they use latex to stay up, and I'm allergic to latex so I can only wear them for about five hours before my skin starts to blister (EW). The other downside is that when I went to put them on, the elastic was broke in the top of one of the stockings !! D: It's alright though, they still manage to stay up when I'm wearing them.


Last item is an item that once I saw it, I felt I just HAD to buy it ! I went to H&M to see if they had any usamimi's in (Because I was reading Vivi's blog and she had gotten one from there) but they didn't and I found this instead ! It's a huge black bow that's attached to a chain. So cute ~ And I knew I could use this for a lot of future outfits. I wish they had a pink one ! I so would've bought it in pink too. ;___;

That's it for this weeks shopping buys, sorry about all the blurry/dark pictures; my camera sucks ! D: '' I'll have another post sometime by the end of August or beginning of September with my 'Back to School' clothing and stuff, so keep a look out for that ! C:

Also, before I post the pancake recipe (LOL still have to get all the ingredients for that) I am posting a review on two different teeth whitening products that I use ! So keep an eye out for that ! ;3
